The meaning of 14 February has gone to the next level this time with the beginning of 2015 Cricket World Cup. 2015 CWC is the 11th Cricket World Cup, being held from 14 February to 29 March 2015, hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

End date: 29th March

Cricket format: One Day International

Tournament format: Round-Robin and Knock-Out

Total matches been played: 49

Starting on V-Day with an estimated TV audience of over 1 billion worldwide, it may be dwarfed in size by the soccer World Cup or the Olympics but remains the holy grail of the world of cricket and generates significant business, much of it in India.

The team are separated into two pools- A&B where 7 team in each group will fight in between each other of same group and the top two teams will qualify for the next round.

In this session, 14 countries are participating will try their luck to win the World Cup 2015. The Various teams participating are as follows:

Sachin Tendulkar has been roped in as the ambassador of the tournament for the second time in row. With Mr. Bachchan sitting in the commentary box for the Ind-Pak game to be held on 15th Feb, Sunday and commentary in regional languages, it is going to be a different viewing experience.
