This shows the little ones are no less fashionable and are quite conscious about their looks and attires.

Many brands are involved in delivering high quality appealing kids wear which tends to tempt both kids and parents for spending a good amount of money. Some of the major reasons behind the tremendous growth of the kids wear industry are peer pressure, high disposable income of the parents, media exposure, brand recognition among the children and the current fashion oriented generation.

  • The market for designer kids wear is supposed to grow upto 95,000 Crores by 2016.
  • In the year 2015, the market for kids wear is supposed to hit the Rs. 80,000 Crores mark.
  • The market for kids wear is growing at an annual rate of 20%.
  • Kids apparel counts for about 25% of the total value of the Indian apparel industry.

As the industry is growing, the business opportunities in the sector are also increasing. Thousands of SMEs are also involved in producing a variety of kids wear and earning good revenue out of it. The kids wear industry can be a perfect one for investing in or for starting a new business.
