New Features in Trade India’s portal – Part 2

In the previous blog, we had discussed some new features in, such as the sponsored links/ products showcase in city pages, the option of uploading products through whatsapp, the eSeller catalog in a new avatar and many more. Extending on that, we now bring the second part of our blog. In this part, we will showcase more new features that have been added in Trade India‚Äôs portal. These features are, a new EMI based subscription model and the online payment facility. Like all the previous features, both these features will drastically improve the user experience and enhance Trade India’s reputation as the most user friendly e commerce organization. Let’s have a look at these features in detail.

EMI based subscription model with ECS facility

The new feature of EMI based subscription model along with ECS facility is a first of it’s kind service for an e-commerce portal in India. This service is expected to help all those brick & mortar stores that are yet to have an online presence. Named as EasyPay, this service allows clients to pay the cost of getting listed on Trade India’s portal in easy to pay & convenient monthly installments. The client would need to pay the existing package cost plus the cost of loan payable to the lender ( fixed at 10 percent ) in a combination of the initial down payment and 8 EMI’s. To elaborate,

  • Suppose a client avails a package from Trade India worth INR 100,000.
  • Loan amount/package cost to customer under the Easy Pay scheme – existing package cost ( INR 100,000 ) plus cost of loan payable to the lender ( 10 percent of the package cost ) = INR 110,000
  • The client would have to pay 20 percent of the total cost as down payment – 20 percent of 110,000 = INR 22,000
  • The client would then pay the remaining INR 88,000 in 8 monthly installments of INR 11000 each

To make the EasyPay service seamless for our clients, our salespersons will coordinate with the clients, ensuring the submission of all the necessary documents and filling of all the requisite forms, thus preventing our valued clients from facing any hassles.

Online Payment Facility

The other new feature is the online payment facility. We expect this facility to further benefit our clients through making the payments process much more simpler. Moreover, to promote the usage of this facility, clients who have chosen this mode of payment will get 1 month of extra services free of cost. In short, no need for our clients to go through hassles such as issuing cheques, demand drafts, paying in cash etc., instead they can pay through our seamless & convenient online payment system.

How our clients can use it

  • Open the URL
  • Enter their registered email ID & mobile number
  • It will show the company associated with the entered email ID and mobile number
  • After selecting the company and entering the amount that is to be paid, clients will be able to pay through the payment getaway
  • Clients will receive a confirmation of the payment

Furthermore, the new online payment facility being offered by trade India is mobile friendly, with easy one page checkout and clients further having the option to add multiple email id’s in CC.

Trade India, which is the largest B2B portal in India with over 4 million customers has always been at the forefront of innovation to bring positive changes to the e commerce sector along with further enhancing the overall user experience. The series of changes that have been highlighted in the two blogs of this series all emphasize the same fact.
