Tradeindia Made Me a Better Person in Personal & Professional Life: Baljeet

By on August 20, 2019 in Journey with Tradeindia with 0 Comments

I couldn’t imagine myself in the Sales profession as in childhood I was very reserved and was not confident enough to share my views with others. My childhood was quite challenging as my father breathed his last when I was quite young and then my mother took care of me. Due to the challenges that my family was facing in those days, I started earning right from the early age of 18. With no option left, I did my graduation as well as post-graduation from distance learning so as to support my family with my earnings and grow in career.

At a quite young age, I started finding a job and got it in the Sales profession to survive and earn my bread & butter. In 2008, I started my career as a sales executive at a call center. Later after acquiring some skills, I joined a B2B company as a business development executive, worked there for 5 challenging but quite healthy years.

One of my friends from the previous organization referred me to for the branch manager position, here I was interviewed by HR Head and Bikky Sir. This happened in 2014 and at that time I had no clue that the company will provide me such a plethora of opportunities to learn, grow and excel in my field. The starting few years of my journey were full of challenges as I had to build my own team, train professionals and prove my excellence in Telesales. But with the support of my mentors as well as team members, I took the challenges well and proudly conquered them.

So far, the journey from a small team of 7 people to a workforce of 70 people is fascinating for me, I can’t stop myself to explore as well as to achieve more for the company. With the years passed and challenges faced in the B2B sales field at Tradeindia, I have gained good exposure of the market and transformed into a mature & composed person, which I was not, before joining this company. Credit for all my growth as well as success goes to the management, specially Zille Sir, Sandip Sir, Inderbir Sir, and Bikky Sir, they made me who I am today.

Once you get the freedom to do your work, make your own decisions, you tread on a path that makes you shine even in the darkness. This is what, I got here, absolute freedom to make my strategies as well as take decisions. Till date, I have been consistently getting the support of management to grow and perform better. And this boosts my confidence and make me explore more of Baljeet.

In the years ahead, I am looking forward to having more from this family and growing with the company. I have gained good experience in the Sales field yet I am learning here, thanks to the colleagues as well as supportive mentors, who share their knowledge and learning with others. They inspire me a lot and help me give my best to enhance knowledge and the performance of my team members. With all that I have from this company, I sincerely want to contribute to the best of my abilities to make Tradeindia shine out in the B2B marketplace race and retain its leading position.
I am thankful to my entire team, which always believes me and stands by my side in all the highs and lows. For me, they are the real winner; without their contribution, I couldn’t have been here where I am and writing about my journey to inspire others.
Concluding the write-up, I will mention my family, a big thank to them as well because back at home they always stand there for me and constantly boost my morale. My mother, my wife, my sister and now my son too, who has just arrived from heaven as a special blessing for me; are my real strength.
